As part of its international development strategy, ERARD Groupe, a subsidiary of the Qualis Group and one of the leading French companies in the design, manufacture and sales of global solutions for integrated audiovisual systems, requires a manager for its professional market unit.
Export Sales Manager
The job is based in CHAVANOZ (38) near Lyon.
Job description.
Work in this purely French entity to develop an export strategy based on a 3-year business plan to put forward to our top Management team.
Monitor and develop sales on markets outside France with the 4-5 year objective of establishing 50 % of our turnover on international markets.
Our Export Sales Manager will lead a network of distributors and / or specialised agents with this in aim. He/She will engage in market research, recruit new partners, negotiate sales contracts, prepare and implement action plans to develop our activity on export markets.
Applicant profile
Business school graduate with a major in marketing or a technical background with sales experience.
The applicant should speak 2 European languages fluently (French is not mandatory).
With at least 10 years' experience in sales on the export market in reasonably-sized companies, the applicant should have the track record to determine the necessary resources for success.
Interpersonal skills.
A salesperson who enjoys the job. A career path which has progressed to sales management positions.
As such, the applicant is skilled in setting up sales actions and communicating with Company resources such as the marketing, operations and financial departments, convincing them to allocate the necessary resources.
